Role Overview
The Data Analyst, Perkins Reporting will serve as the technical lead for data area procedures and policies for Postsecondary Career and Technical (CTE) related programming. The position will spend 70% of working time focused on CTE data processes and reporting. The analyst will work with institutions to submit data, troubleshoot errors, and provide guidance on data interpretation. The role will also provide data and analyses to fulfill ad hoc reporting requirements of the agency, legislature, governor, and public.
What You Will Do
The Data Analyst, Perkins Reporting will use SQL, Python, and R to extract, clean, merge, and validate datasets. The analyst will develop reproducible scripts, automated processes, and documentation to support ongoing state and federal reporting. The role will also conduct research, analyze data, and respond to routine internal and external data requests.
