Role Overview
The Business Development Partner is responsible for generating and developing new business, employer, community, and membership acquisition. This role serves as a connector between OneAZ Credit Union and Arizona employers, businesses, community organizations, and strategic partners, creating a consistent pipeline of opportunities that contributes to membership, deposit, loan, and relationship growth.
What You Will Do
The Business Development Partner will identify prospects, build relationships, generate referrals, support Select Employer Group (SEG) and Workplace Banking opportunities, and ensure qualified opportunities move through the pipeline to measurable results.

Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Masters Degree Preferred
- 3-5 years similar or related experience in Business Development and/or Community Relationship Development required
- Proven experience in business development or a related role
- Strong relationship-building, networking, and business development skills with the ability to develop and maintain external partnerships
- Strong verbal, written, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and maintain an active pipeline
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business tracking systems
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and sound judgment
- Ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights
