Data Scientist

Role Overview

Peraton is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to support a federal client onsite in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will identify business trends and solve complex problems through advanced big data analysis.

What You Will Do

Develop rapid analysis scripts, visualization prototypes, and interactive dashboards tailored to project needs. Prepare and present analysis reports, visioning session materials, and project documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
• 8+ years experience
• Active Public Trust clearance
• Proficiency in SQL and Python and/or R
• Strong analytical background with academic or professional grounding in data science, statistics, or a related quantitative discipline
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex findings for non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to work across multiple industries and adapt quickly to complex, dynamic environments
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) and must not have traveled outside the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in last 5 years. Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years.
