Lead Data Engineer

We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer to guide the technical vision, mentor data engineering teams, and build high-quality, scalable data products that power insights, analytics, and AI. The role involves leading major strategic projects, including a new Enterprise Data Warehouse, and working closely with Architects, DBAs, and engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Proven ability leading and line managing technical data teams
  • Experience with cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Azure
  • Strong SQL query and scripting
  • Experience consuming data from various sources
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical language
  • Knowledge of data modelling theory
  • Familiarity with data governance principles and best practice
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex data engineering problems
