Role Overview

The Applications Sales Engineer serves as the technical and commercial bridge between customers, engineering, and sales. This role combines deep technical expertise with customer-facing sales support, driving business growth through technical solutions, proposal development, and customer engagement.

What You Will Do

Act as the primary technical interface with customers, supporting both pre-sale and post-sale activities. Develop technical solutions, presentations, and proposals to support sales efforts. Participate in customer meetings, design reviews, and technical discussions to identify requirements and position PDC products.

This position requires a U.S Person or a person who can qualify for a Department of State or Department of Commerce License. The ideal candidate will have 6–8+ years of experience in Applications Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Technical Sales, with a background in space or aerospace electronics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 6–8+ years of experience in Applications Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Technical Sales
  • Background in space or aerospace electronics with experience in radiation-tolerant components, power architecture, and embedded computing systems
  • Experience supporting customer proposals and technical sales efforts

Benefits

  • Annual salary of $120,000 – $140,000
