Financial Analyst

Role Overview

Join Prelco Team as a Financial Analyst at our Belleville facility to make a tangible impact on the performance of a manufacturing operation.

What You Will Do

Analyze production costs, variances, and key performance indicators to support operational efficiency, participate in calculation, monitoring, and optimization of product costing, and prepare financial and operational analyses to support business decision-making.

You will contribute to the continuous improvement of financial and operational processes, participate in optimization initiatives and system implementation projects, and act as a liaison between Operations and Finance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3 to 7 years of experience in financial analysis, management accounting, or manufacturing accounting within an organization operating under Canadian accounting standards
• Manufacturing expertise and a strong knowledge of cost accounting and cost structures
• Analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
• CPA designation or actively pursuing one
