Senior Business Development Officer

Role Overview

The Business Development Officer is a senior, externally focused growth leader responsible for expanding Prevail Bank’s presence, relationships, and business within an assigned market. This individual independently develops and executes a market business development strategy, builds trusted relationships with business and community leaders, and originates high-value opportunities across Prevail’s full range of capabilities.

What You Will Do

Develop, own, and execute a comprehensive business development plan aligned with market priorities and Prevail’s strategic growth objectives. Originate new relationships that generate deposits, loans, fee income, and broader use of Prevail’s products and services. Build trusted relationships with business owners, executives, community leaders, professional advisors, and other key decision-makers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience.
• Seven to ten years of progressive experience in business development, financial services, consultative sales, commercial relationship management, or market leadership.
• Demonstrated record of originating, acquiring, and expanding profitable business relationships and consistently achieving growth goals.
• Established relationships and credibility within the assigned market strongly preferred.
• Experience working across multiple financial solutions or coordinating complex, multi-party sales opportunities preferred.
