As the Event Sales Manager, you will report to the Senior Sales Manager and National Director of Sales, with overall accountability to the VP of Event Sales & Business Development. You will seek new sales opportunities, consult with clients on all event details to ensure smooth execution, manage revenue documentation, and maintain accurate financial records.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years in restaurant or hotel event sales, with a proven track record in event-specific sales
- Experience in event operations (a plus!)
- Extensive understanding of the market and industry trends
- Proven experience working in high-volume, fast-paced environments for at least 3 years
- Familiarity with event operations and the ability to adapt to varying schedules based on event volume
- Ability to accommodate and work schedules that align with restaurant and bar volume demands
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong math aptitude for financial reporting and budget management
- Experience in managing, leading, and motivating a team of employees
