Role Overview

The Marketing and Events Manager will plan, develop, manage, and execute high-impact internal and external events while serving as a strategic contributor to the Marketing team. This role plays a critical part in strengthening ZP’s brand visibility, creative direction, customer engagement, and community relationships across national markets.

What You Will Do

Develop and manage a comprehensive annual events calendar, lead event strategy and planning, oversee event execution and logistics, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and track and manage event budgets and financial performance.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional event planning, event management, or corporate events experience
  • Strong knowledge of Deaf Culture, communication accessibility, and American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Proven experience planning and executing large-scale events, conferences, and community engagement activations
  • Strong project management, time management, and multitasking abilities
  • Exceptional communication skills, written, visual, and interpersonal
  • Experience managing event budgets, vendor contracts, and negotiation processes
  • Ability to manage logistics, travel planning, shipping coordination, and nationwide event rollouts
  • Ability to travel frequently nationwide, including evenings, weekends, and extended event schedules
  • Experience collaborating with Marketing teams on event promotion and brand alignment
  • Comfort working under pressure with tight deadlines and fast turnaround needs
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities, with the ability to measure event success and generate actionable insights
  • Ability to mentor, support, and guide event support staff and cross-functional partners
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred
