Sales and Marketing Manager

Role Overview

The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans to drive business growth, increase market share and brand visibility for our product portfolio. This role involves leading the sales and marketing teams, fostering strong customer relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives.

Responsibilities include meeting sales targets, developing and analyzing marketing plans, scheduling and tracking sales and marketing activities, and maintaining strong relationships with key clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Veterinary Medicine, Pharmacy or a related field
• Professional certifications e.g. CIM, related PGDs are an added advantage
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the veterinary, health or pharmaceutical sectors
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading successful marketing campaigns
• Customer-focused with excellent relationship building skills
• Strong leadership and team management skills with a passion for developing employees
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Organizational and Project management skills
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to maximize business opportunities
• Proficiency in using Sales, CRM software and other relevant digital marketing tools
• Willingness to travel extensively within Uganda
