Business Analytics Engineer, Customer Insights

Role Overview

Rad AI is building out embedded analytics inside their reporting platform, giving radiology groups and health systems self-service visibility into their own reporting data. This role sits at the center of that effort, working with customers to understand their needs and building governed data models and dashboards to deliver it correctly.

What You Will Do

Get the data foundation right, gather and translate requirements with customers and internal partners, design and build the semantic layer and dashboards that serve customer requirements, and apply real statistical rigor to healthcare reporting data.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience in analytics engineering, data science, or business/BI analysis, with demonstrated AI fluency, strong SQL skills, and experience with governed BI/semantic layer tools and SQL/Python notebooks.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in analytics engineering, data science, or business/BI analysis
• Demonstrated AI fluency
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience with governed BI/semantic layer tools
• Experience with SQL/Python notebooks
• Working statistics fluency
• Comfortable in dbt/Snowflake-style modeling environments
• Direct experience defining or maintaining a semantic layer
• Comfort with ambiguity
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Healthcare, health IT, or other regulated-industry data experience is a strong plus
