Field Sales Engineer – Central California

Role Overview

The Field Sales Engineer is responsible for managing and growing sales within a defined territory by acting as a strategic partner to customers, distributors, and internal stakeholders. This role serves as a primary point of contact for technical sales of Dodge products and solutions, driving volume growth and capturing new business opportunities through field engagement and relationship development.

Key responsibilities include developing and executing territory sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with distributor partners and end users, and providing product recommendations and interchange solutions based on plant surveys and application analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (technical field preferred) or equivalent relevant experience

  • 1–2 years of Dodge product knowledge preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools (Salesforce preferred)
