Business Development Manager

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager will lead the Canadian expansion of Contract Professionals across the upstream, midstream, EPCM, fabrication, and construction markets. The ideal candidate will be a well-connected, self-directed business developer with an established network in the Canadian energy market.

What You Will Do

The successful candidate will revive existing agreements with major owner-operators, build new client relationships, and position Contract Professionals as a trusted workforce partner across Western Canada.

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of business development, account management, or relevant industry experience
• Business development or account management experience within engineering, oil and gas, technical, or industrial staffing
• An established network across Canadian upstream, midstream, EPCM, fabrication, construction, or industrial organizations
• A demonstrated ability to reactivate accounts, secure new clients, and develop profitable relationships
• Experience working with owner-operators, EPCM firms, fabricators, contractors, or industrial service providers
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
• A self-directed, entrepreneurial approach to building and managing a sales pipeline
