Data Scientist

We are seeking a hands-on data scientist to work in RMIT’s Data & Analytics team. The successful candidate will work with complex enterprise datasets to deliver insights, models, and data products that support decision-making across the university.

Requirements

• Strong SQL skills
• Experience working in Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
• Exposure to dbt and Git-based version control
• Proficiency in Python or R
• Solid foundations in statistics, machine learning, and model evaluation
• Experience working with text-heavy or unstructured data, analytics products, or modern AI-enabled platforms
