People Operations Partner

Role Overview

The People Operations Partner will work on a hybrid basis from Scopely’s Mexico City hub, responsible for making the employee experience run smoothly for North America employees. The role involves operational expertise and a continuous improvement mindset to onboarding, local benefits, global mobility, and other areas.

What You Will Do

The People Operations Partner will own onboarding for new hires, deliver People Operations new hire orientations, confirm new hires’ legal right to work, maintain accurate employee records, and support internal and external audits. They will also drive ongoing improvements to People Operations processes, reduce manual work, errors, and turnaround time, and generate and analyze JIRA and People Analytics metrics.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in People Operations, HR operations, or HR administration, with a working knowledge of Mexican employment law and HR compliance requirements. Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in People Operations, HR operations, or HR administration
• Working knowledge of Mexican employment law and HR compliance requirements
• A track record of improving processes
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in employee data, documentation, and reporting
• A service mindset
• Experience with an HRIS (Workday preferred) and a ticketing tool (JIRA preferred)
• Demonstrated experience operating or improving agentic AI workflows in a business setting
• Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize across multiple workstreams
• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and verbal
