Finance Operations Analyst

Seagate’s Finance Department seeks a Finance Analyst to support Factory Operations with financial planning, performance management, costing, and fixed asset management. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills and a keen interest in leveraging software and technology to enhance finance processes.

Requirements

• Consolidate and analyse weekly financial outlooks and actual results, providing clear variance analysis, insights, and mitigation actions
• Perform quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes, including assumptions alignment with business partners
• Organize month-end close activities and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Coordinate and execute inventory costing & fixed asset activities
• Support compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and SOX requirements
• Monitor and manage operational spending, identifying cost risks & opportunities, and enable timely & relevant decision making through data-driven analysis
• Drive finance process improvements, including the use of software, automation, and analytics tools
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis and cross-functional initiatives as assigned
