Financial Analyst I

Role Overview

The Financial Analyst I supports the monthly financial analysis and reporting, the company’s planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles, working with department leaders to help them manage their budgets and KPIs.

What You Will Do

Contributes detailed, accurate, and timely reporting and analysis, while also being an effective partner to department leaders and other key stakeholders in the business.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting, financial analysis or other relevant area, and moderate to advanced proficiency in Excel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or other relevant area
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting, financial analysis or other relevant area
• Telecom industry knowledge or experience preferred
• Ability to structure, analyze, and communicate financial data from base datasets with limited supervision
• Ability to communicate effectively with Finance team members and other stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Attention to detail and pride in quality of work product
• Self-starter with a natural curiosity and desire to learn from those around them
• Moderate to advanced proficiency in Excel
• Experience working in ERP systems and BI tools (e.g. D365, Power BI) a plus
