Data Scientist III

Role Overview

Seneca Resources is seeking an experienced Data Scientist III to support advanced data analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and business intelligence initiatives in a complex enterprise environment.

What You Will Do

Design and develop data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and predictive analytics solutions, including model development, training, testing, evaluation, refinement, deployment, and maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience developing data science solutions using programming and scripting languages such as Python, SQL, R, and JavaScript.
• 3+ years of experience applying machine learning, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, robotic process automation, text/data mining, statistical modeling, or advanced mathematical methods.
• 6+ months of experience working with cloud data platforms or services such as AWS, Azure, Databricks, Data Factory, Data Lake, or Data Lakehouse.
• Strong experience with relational databases, SQL querying, data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration.
• Experience developing Power BI dashboards, reports, visualizations, and analytical solutions, including familiarity with DAX and Power Query/M.
• Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT strategies, data pipelines, data transformations, data validation, and data quality processes.
• Demonstrated ability to transform complex datasets into meaningful business insights and actionable recommendations.
• Experience working with both structured and unstructured data and applying appropriate analytical, statistical, or machine learning techniques.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, debugging, deployment, and documentation.
• Strong technical writing, documentation, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
