Consultant Data Engineer

Role Overview

As a Data Engineer Consultant, you will work on various client projects and building Sia’s AI solutions, with a focus on cloud services, containerization, and data pipelines. You will be part of a young and diverse Data Science team, with a flat structure and an entrepreneurial spirit.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include working on client projects, building Sia’s AI solutions, and developing server-side tools, data pipelines, and CI/CD processes. You will also be responsible for managing cloud services, containerization, and infrastructure as code.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree with a strong quantitative component
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in Data, DevOps, Cloud, or Software Engineering
• Good level in Python
• Solid foundation in other languages
• Familiarity with at least one SQL DBMS (ideally PostgreSQL) and ideally noSQL (ideally MongoDB)
• Experience with at least one cloud services platform (GCP, AWS, Azure) or a strong appetite to learn
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes (ideally)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools (ideally Terraform)
• Experience in implementing application protection solutions (certificate management, HTTPS security, OAuth2 authentication, credential management)
• Excellent interpersonal and team working skills
• Excellent English and Dutch verbal and written skills
