Role Overview
As a Sales Engineer, you will be a technical expert in Sierra’s Agent product, working with the Sales, Product, and Agent Engineering teams to drive the company’s go-to-market function and continuously improve the Agents through customer-driven product development.
What You Will Do
You will design and demo Sierra’s Agent product, offer technical solutions to customers’ needs, and answer technical questions about the solutions. You will also work directly with customers, understand their needs, and anticipate their requirements to continue Sierra’s industry-leading AI solution.

This role requires 5-7+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or customer-facing technical sales, with a strong ability to connect a prospect’s business problems with Sierra’s solutions and explain them to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- 5-7+ years experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering or customer-facing technical sales
- Past experience in demo building, and presenting, and working with customers or clients in the GTM function
- Experience in relationship-building with potential customers, including executives and technical leaders
- Experience in leading the sales process with Enterprise customers
- Ability to connect a prospect’s specific business problems and Sierra’s solutions and explain them to both a technical and non-technical audience
- Bachelor’s Degree or above; bonus if in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
