The Role
We are seeking a versatile, high-impact Head of Growth to own our commercial engine. As a founding member of a lean, seed-stage team, you will lead the full spectrum of Marketing, Sales, and Go-to-Market strategy. This is a highly hands-on role; we prioritize a proven track record of selling and marketing products first-hand over years of management seniority. You will be responsible for the total customer lifecycle: from seeding viral product-led growth (PLG) loops to closing enterprise-level agreements.
Core Responsibilities
1. Growth & Demand Generation
- Viral Loop Optimization: Own the product-led growth engine, optimizing user referral triggers and “Community Connector” programs to drive organic expansion within professional networks.
- Hands-on Inbound Strategy: Execute SEO and targeted content strategies that establish Slung as a thought leader in professional operational efficiency.
- Product Marketing: Refine messaging and positioning to ensure our initial user experience effectively converts trials into long-term advocates.
2. Sales & Revenue Operations
- Full-Cycle Sales: Directly lead the sales process for high-usage organizations, moving them from individual users to firm-wide professional tiers.
- Outbound Excellence: Identify and target key influencers in sectors like CRE and construction to seed Slung across partner and vendor networks.
- Account Expansion: Navigate mid-market enterprises to move them from fragmented tool usage to a centralized, institutional AI context layer.
3. GTM Strategy & Product Feedback
- Strategic Roadmap: Identify “low-hanging fruit” market segments and iterate on pricing and packaging.
- Feedback Loop: Act as the primary bridge between the market and engineering, translating complex user requirements into product features.
Requirements
- Direct GTM Experience: You have a proven track record of managing both top-of-funnel PLG mechanics and bottom-of-funnel enterprise closing.
- Professional Services Proficiency: You understand the nuances of high-value workflows, such as those in real estate, construction, or service industries.
- Founding Mindset: You are a self-starter who thrives in a high-autonomy, early-stage environment.
- Experience: 1–7 years in GTM, Growth, or Business Development roles, ideally within FinTech or B2B SaaS.
