Smithbucklin, a 650-person, employee-owned professional services company, is looking for a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join their team in Chicago. The role involves conceiving and developing basic marketing plans, overseeing implementation, and tracking budgets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of professional experience in marketing communications
- Agency and/or association management experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of the general marketing process – research, planning, promotion and evaluation
- Solid understanding of social media and ability to navigate popular outlets
- Proficiency with popular IT applications and basic understanding of HTML
- Proficiency with basic computer programming, including the Microsoft Office Suite
