Data Scientist Position

Role Overview

Join the Data & IA Hub team as a data scientist to work on projects related to inspection, AI, and data management. The team is experiencing strong growth and is part of the SOCOTEC group, a leader in sustainability and testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) in construction, infrastructure, and industry.

What You Will Do

As a data scientist, you will participate in A to Z projects, including data collection, pipeline preprocessing, modeling, and deployment. You will contribute to the development of the 4 main axes of the group: Inspection 4.0, Assistants SOCOTEC, IA+X for new services, and Extraction of information from documents and plans.

Requirements

• Student in the final year of engineering school or Master’s degree in data science, AI, or applied mathematics
• Very good mastery of Python and the data science ecosystem (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow)
• Solid bases in machine learning and deep learning
• A first experience in computer vision, NLP, or LLM is a plus
• Good software development practices (git, tests, documentation)
• Familiarity with a public cloud (AWS ideally) is appreciated
• Autonomy, curiosity, scientific rigor, and writing and communication qualities
• Professional English: you will interact with international teams
