Role Overview

As a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst supporting Technology Air Operations, you will manage Air Operations Other Operating Expense general ledger accounts and serve as a key point of contact for ad hoc requests from Network Operations Control, Network Operations Planning, Flight Operations, and Inflight Teams.

What You Will Do

Review financial results, compare and analyze actuals versus plan, forecast, and prior year to analyze the cause of variances, identify trends, and monitor impacts to key performance indicators. Execute, maintain, and enhance reporting for Companywide and Department financial reviews, business performance reviews, and forecasts.

You will partner with FP&A Leaders to deliver core financial reporting, analyze business performance, and provide insights on key drivers and impacts. This role also supports Flight Attendant wage processes and helps maintain financial models by documenting assumptions and updating plans.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Intermediate-level experience in analyzing operational and financial data, building budgets and forecasts, and preparing financial reports
  • Knowledge of financial principles and practices, business and management principles, and principles and methods for moving people or goods by air, rail, sea, or road
  • Skilled in understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making, collecting, organizing, visualizing and assimilating data, and using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions
