Senior Financial Analyst – Cash Flow

Role Overview

As Senior Financial Analyst – Cash Flow, you will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and actionable total cash flow insights, forecasting, and performance reporting across the Springer Nature Group.

You will lead the development of robust cash flow forecasting and planning capabilities, ensuring that cash performance, liquidity risks, and opportunities are clearly understood and embedded in business decision-making.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Demonstrable experience in financial planning, controlling, treasury, or cash flow analysis
• Strong understanding of financial statements and the relationship between P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
• Advanced financial modelling and forecasting skills
• Advanced Excel skills together with experience using modern analytical and visualisation tools
• Experience working with large datasets and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, Power BI or similar)
• Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights and recommendations
• Experience presenting financial insights to executive-level audiences
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving business process improvements
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Strong attention to detail coupled with the ability to see the bigger picture
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment
