Business Development Manager – Security & Event Solutions

Remote Full TimeUnited States (Remote)Stratoscope

Role Overview

Stratoscope is seeking a driven, growth-minded Business Development Manager to help expand our client base and generate new business across our portfolio of security, event, technology, and risk management solutions. As a Business Development Manager, you will help advance this purpose by identifying prospective clients, building relationships, uncovering needs, and connecting organizations with the right combination of Stratoscope capabilities.

What You Will Do

Build pipeline, develop new client relationships, sell across the Stratoscope portfolio, advance opportunities through the sales process, conduct thoughtful discovery, support proposals and presentations, develop your network, represent Stratoscope in the market, and manage your business with discipline.

Why It Might Be a Fit

You are a builder, competitive and motivated by results, but you understand that strong sales performance starts with credibility and relationships. You listen well, ask thoughtful questions, and want to understand what a client actually needs rather than simply pushing a product or service.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of B2B sales, business development, or relevant industry experience
  • Demonstrated success generating new business, building pipeline, and/or contributing to revenue growth
  • Experience working toward individual sales goals, quotas, or other measurable business development targets
  • A willingness and ability to prospect actively and consistently
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the confidence to engage prospective clients through phone, email, networking, meetings, and industry events
  • A consultative approach to sales, with the curiosity to understand a client’s needs before recommending a solution
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally with clients and prospects
  • Excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50–75% throughout the United States

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Multiple medical plan options with preventive care, prescription coverage, telemedicine, and mental health support
  • Tax-advantaged accounts, including FSA, Dependent Care FSA, and HSA
  • Company-paid life and AD&D insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan with a 3% employer safe-harbor match
  • Unlimited Paid Time Off
