Role Overview

Connexus Credit Union is a remote-first employer seeking a Data Scientist to partner with teams across the organization to identify opportunities, build models, and turn data into recommendations that drive business outcomes.

What You Will Do

Develop data science solutions, apply statistical and mathematical skills, create visualizations, and work across a wide range of related areas including data extraction, feature engineering, and machine learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, applied mathematics, statistics, or machine learning
• 5+ years of prior experience in data scientist role
• 1 + year of data science roles or equivalent experience
• Experience applying statistical modeling, machine learning (ML/AI) algorithms for supervised & unsupervised learning, and natural-language processing (NLP) to business problems and goals
• Proficient in SnowFlake, Python, R, SQL, and basic machine learning
• Proficient in using data visualization tools
• Excellent communications skills, including the ability to simplify recommended action plans from complex data science project
