Financial Analyst IV, Financial Business Services

Role Overview

This position is hybrid (some days onsite in Sacramento, California) and supports system’s Finance strategic objectives, providing long-term financial planning, operational performance analysis, financial feasibility studies, and special purpose reports for senior leadership.

What You Will Do

Identifies areas for financial analysis and completes feasibility studies in collaboration with affiliates, functions as an effective resource to advance the system’s Finance strategic objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or Healthcare Administration or related field
• 8 years recent relevant experience
• Experience in healthcare preferred
• Knowledge of healthcare administration and reimbursement
• Working knowledge of healthcare industry and trends (local and national)
• Financial analysis principles, methods, practices, and procedures
• Financial modeling
• Computerized accounting/financial systems
• Ability to translate complex financial data and analysis into reports and presentations for appropriate audience
• Critical thinking and analytical skills
• Organization skills and attention to details
• Customer service focus
• Ability to prioritize workload to complete assignments accurately and timely, and to meet strict timelines
