Data Engineer – Data Ops Team

Role Overview

Join TD SYNNEX’s Data Ops team as a Data Engineer and become part of the central engineering force that powers our Customer Data Platform (CDP) serving millions of customers across Europe. You’ll be at the heart of our AI and data-driven transformation, designing and operating the shared backend that enables Campaign & Customer Analytics, E-commerce Platform and Partner & Channels Management with data driven insights.

What You Will Do

Building AI-powered data platforms with MLOps frameworks, automated monitoring, and intelligent pipeline systems that self-heal and reduce manual work. Enriching data sets that power analytics and insights by introducing new data sources, while supporting integration of data science analytics outputs to business channels.

Requirements

• 3+ years of applied data engineering experience
• Strong SQL proficiency with complex joins, subqueries, and data warehousing concepts (ETL/ELT, data modeling)
• Python programming expertise including data wrangling, object-oriented programming, and automation for large-scale datasets
• Cloud data platform experience. Knowledge of Azure cloud stack is a plus.
• Databricks platform knowledge covering Unity Catalog, workflows, and compute management
• Apache Spark/PySpark proficiency: Distributed data processing, DataFrame operations, Spark SQL, and integration with Databricks platform
• DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, version control (Git), and deployment strategies
• Stakeholder communication skills to translate business requirements into technical specifications and present insights
• Problem-solving approach with systematic incident resolution and cross-platform integration experience
• BSc/MSc/PhD in Computer Science, AI, or a related STEM field is a plus.
