Role Overview
The Senior Risk and Compliance Data Analyst reports to the Grants Federal Compliance Officer for the Department of Grant Compliance and Administration. The role performs risk assessment and compliance data analysis, data research, examination, and identification of data patterns and trends to support compliance with federal requirements, enforcement actions, subrecipient monitoring, and complaints. This work is time sensitive and includes data analysis to track and inform on noncompliance actions, corrective action plans, risk assessment activities, federal subrecipient data awards, expenditure, findings, and audit trends.
What You Will Do
Collects, reviews, tracks, and analyzes risk assessment, non-compliance activities, corrective actions, complaints, and subrecipient monitoring data. Maintains, updates, and assesses risk assessment, non-compliance activities, corrective actions, complaints, and subrecipient monitoring data, procedures, and systems. Develops and maintains risk assessment, non-compliance activities, corrective actions, complaints, and subrecipient monitoring data reports, tools, and resources.

Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university
- At least four years of experience in system analysis, database administrator, or web-based application work
- Certified Texas Contract Manager (CTCM) certification within first six months of employment
- Knowledge of statistics, analyzing data sets; running queries, report writing, and presenting findings; and including security procedures for handling, protecting, and distributing confidential data
- Knowledge of data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Highly organized; attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- A desire to self-reflect, give/receive feedback and continuously improve; and communicate effectively
- Ability to engage in a collaborative, results-oriented team environment
