The Events Manager is a member of The Bowery Mission’s Development Team responsible for developing donor and volunteer relationships to raise critical funds and resources necessary to extend compassionate care and transform lives at The Bowery Mission. The Events Manager oversees all fundraising and cultivation events, including planning and managing multiple events, leading planning meetings, and securing venues and vendors.
Requirements
- Embrace’s the organization’s Statement of Faith
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 year’s event planning experience
- Advanced software knowledge and use, including Microsoft Office
- Understanding of print production, general design and font principles
- Working knowledge of event‐related tools, technologies, and industry processes
