Role Overview
The Ads and Partnerships Manager will build and work a prospect pipeline of ministry, publishing, education, and mission-aligned commercial advertisers. They will identify new advertising opportunities across TGC’s digital, email, podcast, cohort, event, and editorial inventory. The manager will develop proposals, packages, and pricing for both a la carte and custom advertising, and negotiate contracts with strategic partners.
What You Will Do
The Ads and Partnerships Manager will build and work a prospect pipeline, identify new advertising opportunities, develop proposals and packages, negotiate contracts, serve as the primary relationship manager for partner accounts, and oversee all advertising across TGC’s network of podcasts.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have three or more years in advertising sales, media partnerships, sponsorship, or business development, with demonstrated success closing new business and meeting revenue targets. They will be comfortable negotiating and holding contract terms, and have a working knowledge of digital ad operations and performance reporting.
Requirements
- Three or more years in advertising sales, media partnerships, sponsorship, or business development
- Demonstrated success closing new business and meeting revenue targets
- Experience managing a book of accounts and a CRM-based pipeline
- Working knowledge of digital ad operations and performance reporting across email, display, and podcast
- Comfortable negotiating and holding contract terms and coordinating agreements with legal counsel
- Familiarity with the evangelical ministry, publishing, and higher education landscape
- Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to represent TGC to outside organizations
- Entrepreneurial and self-directed, able to work remotely with minimal supervision
- Alignment with The Gospel Coalition’s mission, vision, and theological convictions
- Servant-hearted attitude and commitment to excellence in ministry work
