Role Overview
The Consumer Insights Data Analyst will serve as the objective source of truth on business and category performance. The ideal candidate is a curious, strategic thinker, detail oriented and a collaborative business partner who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do
The Data Analyst is responsible for duties including but not limited to the following: owning the source of truth, ensuring data quality and governance, reporting on the state of the business, building dashboards and visualizations, applying advanced analytics, and democratizing data.

The ideal candidate will have experience in data analytics, sales or category analytics, or business intelligence within CPG or retail, and will be able to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3–5 years in data analytics, sales or category analytics, or business intelligence within CPG or retail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field required; an advanced degree is a plus.
- Hands-on expertise with Circana, Stackline, NielsenIQ, or other retailer POS systems.
- Strong command of CPG measures (e.g., consumption, distribution, velocity, base vs. incremental, dollar and unit share).
- Advanced Excel and SQL; experience with Python or R for data manipulation and statistical modeling.
- Proficiency building dashboards in Power BI, Hex, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
- Experience with statistical methods such as regression, forecasting, and price elasticity modeling.
- Working knowledge of data modeling, ETL, and cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) is preferred.
