We’re looking for an Energy Solutions Engineer to join NRMA Energy, supporting the design, delivery and commissioning of energy and EV charging infrastructure across Australia. This is a full-time opportunity with a hybrid working arrangement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronic)
- Knowledge of current Australian regulations, electrical installation rules, and standards
- 5+ years’ engineering experience across EV charging, battery storage, photovoltaics or microgrids
- Experience managing DNSP connection enquiries, applications and approvals
- Strong AutoCAD skills, with experience producing engineering drawings and design plans
- A strong safety mindset and commitment to compliant engineering outcomes
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet challenging deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal teams, contractors and suppliers
- A collaborative approach, with a passion for continuous improvement and process efficiency
- Chartered Professional Engineer, RPEQ or VIC PE accreditation is highly regarded
