Role Overview
The Human Resources (People Operations) Generalist will drive continuous improvement opportunities and ensure employees are treated fairly in compliance with company, state, and federal policies. The role will support leaders to achieve business unit and department goals, and partner with other HR teams as needed.
What You Will Do
The Human Resources Generalist will discover and implement incremental changes in HR processes, ensure compliance with employment regulations, and execute human resource programs including disciplinary matters, talent management, and training and development.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of human resources experience, preferably in a union environment, and be able to interact with all levels of employees. Bi-lingual and SHRM-CP or PHR certification are preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
- At least one year of human resources and employee relations experience
- Experience in a union environment is strongly preferred
- Previous manufacturing HR experience preferred
- Ability to interact with all levels of employees
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications
