Role Overview
The Human Resources (People Operations) Manager will lead a team of HR professionals, discover continuous improvement opportunities, and drive incremental changes in HR processes and systems. They will support and interface with plant and strategic business unit staff to develop and facilitate strategic plans and objectives.
What You Will Do
The Human Resources (People Operations) Manager will lead complex employee relations investigations, recommend a course of action, and counsel, coach, and advise managers and supervisors regarding career development, leadership growth, employee engagement, employment status, corrective action, job eliminations, performance development and/or improvement plans, reassignment, and reorganization.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources or equivalent related field / experience
- Five (5) years of Human Resources and employee relations experience
- One (1) to two (2) years’ experience leading a team preferred
- HR experience in a manufacturing environment preferred and union environment is strongly preferred
- Experience handling highly confidential and sensitive information
- Experience conducting first-line and management training
- Ability to interact with all levels of employees and be perceived as an approachable and knowledgeable resource
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
