The Emerging Arts Professional, Digital Marketing supports the day-to-day digital needs of Texas Performing Arts, with an emphasis on social media creation, scheduling, and audience engagement. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about the performing arts, enjoys creative storytelling, and is excited to help grow TPA’s online presence while learning and developing as a digital marketer.
Requirements
- 1-3 years work experience in arts administration, performing arts production, non-profit management, community engagement, or education.
- Some experience managing social media for an organization, club, project, internship, or personal creative platform.
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
- Basic photography and short-form video skills (smartphone acceptable).
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for performances, content capture, or events.
- Demonstrated intent to pursue a career in professional arts administration or production.
- Demonstrated positive attitude, flexibility with working assignments and a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Demonstrated competencies in Teamwork, Effective communication (written and spoken), Accuracy and attention to detail, Initiative, Decision making and critical thinking, Problem solving.
