The People Operations Generalist administers and executes People Operations programs, policies, and procedures with a strong emphasis on compliance, employee relations, leave management, and technical People Operations. This role serves as an operational partner for leadership and staff, ensuring consistent, compliant, and efficient People Operations practices across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in HR field of study
- 3-5 years in an HR/People Ops Generalist or Business Partner role
- Strong internal customer focus with a professional, approachable, and service-oriented demeanor
- Demonstrated experience in employee relations, including investigations, corrective action, performance counseling, and compliant termination practices
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, wage and hour regulations, and other applicable compliance requirements
- Experience administering leave management programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and workers’ compensation coordination
- Strong attention to detail; ability to maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation and confidential records
- Ability to interpret, apply, and consistently enforce organizational policies and procedures
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
- Demonstrated technical proficiency in People Operations, including HRIS systems, payroll coordination, benefits administration support, and reporting
- Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with physicians, clinic leaders, and employees through consistent visibility and partnership within assigned clinic locations
- Willingness and ability to travel locally among practice locations throughout the Atlanta area
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with leadership and frontline staff
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); advanced Excel skills preferred
- Self-motivated, proactive, and solutions-oriented with the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
