Lead Data Engineer, Imagery Models

The Travelers Data Engineering team is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to work with business partners to modernize design standards and development practices to grow and transform our analytics landscape. The ideal candidate will have 15 years of related experience, 4+ years of experience with AWS Cloud and Python, and 2+ years of experience in imagery pipeline development and reusable frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM related field or equivalent
• Fifteen years of related experience
• 4+ years of experience with AWS Cloud and Python
• 3+ years of experience with Databricks
• 2+ years of experience in imagery pipeline development and reusable frameworks
• Expert knowledge of tools, techniques, and manipulation including cloud platforms, programming languages, and modern software engineering practices
• Excellent delivery skills
• Demonstrated track record of domain expertise
• Strong problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong leadership skills
