AI & BI Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and integrating AI-based solutions to enhance business operations and decision-making at Trend Micro in Tokyo, Japan.
Requirements
- Experience with LLM and AI APIs
- Backend development skills (Python, REST API design, integration, asynchronous programming)
- BI and data skills (SQL, dashboards, business KPI interpretation)
- Japanese language skills (business-level)
- Soft skills (requirements definition, business needs conversion, stakeholder communication)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related fields
- Software development experience of 3 years or more (with focus on API integration and backend development)
- Business discussion skills with non-technical stakeholders in Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent)
- Experience with building applications using LLM APIs or AI services (portfolio or project case studies)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and autonomous initiative in tackling ambiguous and open-ended challenges
