We are seeking a Business Development Manager to develop long term relationships with clients, sell our services and products, negotiate contracts, and transition clients to the Key Account Management team. This role requires frequent travel within Western Canada and to head office, as well as participation in customer-focused events.
Requirements
- Identify, contact, and qualify potential customers to sell United services and products
- Manage leads and opportunities funnel within Salesforce and meet monthly and quarterly targets
- Collaborate with National Key Account Managers, Sales operations, and Pricing teams to deliver quotes and bids within margin threshold targets
- Responsible for increasing United brand presence within specified regions or territories assigned through sales and marketing activities
- Actively participate in sales team meetings, one to ones, marketing meetings and report progress, analyze accounts and provide recommendations to improve sales activities
