Role Overview

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to perform validation on customer remediation events. The role involves performing analysis of data from customer remediation events in accordance with the Customer Remediation Policy, using SQL database queries to pull data from various sources, and comparing data to challenge outcomes and verify accuracy and completeness.

The Data Analyst will perform validation in accordance with the Customer Remediation Policy, challenge outcomes, and verify accuracy and completeness. The role involves working with data from various sources, including SQL Server, Oracle, Netezza, and SAS, and comparing data to challenge outcomes and verify accuracy and completeness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
• Typically more than six years of applicable experience
• Strong knowledge of SQL performing queries to extract and transform data from multiple database sources and structures
• Experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Netezza
• Proficiency with SAS Enterprise Guide- Extracting, transforming, analyzing, and presenting data
• Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge- Ability to manipulate and modify data through formulas and BI tools required
• Power Query and VBA
• Two or more years of experience in testing, audit, and/or an applicable risk management environment
• Knowledge of PCS, CPTS, and/or MPS systems and merchant processing and/or retail credit experience
