Senior Data Scientist

Role Overview

Responsible for big data/analytics projects, developing and programming methods to consolidate and analyze data, and generating insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement.

Acquires data from multiple sources, performs analysis, identifies trends, and presents data in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, computer science, engineering or applied mathematics, or equivalent work experience
• Six to eight years of relevant experience
• Strong analytic skills with the ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Experience in analytics, advanced analytics/statistics, predictive modeling, machine learning, data visualization
• Understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms
• Experience in python/R/SAS/SQL for data extraction, data mining, and predictive analytics
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
