Role Overview

This role provides financial reporting and analytics to the Department, including gift/endowment, monthly divisional productivity, finance and income statements, and faculty incentive tracking. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Excel, Orbit, Power BI, and PeopleSoft, as well as experience in academic medicine departmental finance.

What You Will Do

Completes monthly financial management reports, analyzes variations in forecasts and actual performance, and develops recommendations for improvement. Prepares financial models and conducts financial analyses.

The ideal candidate will have robust knowledge of research, education, and clinical financial operations, reporting, reconciling, and analytics. Database management experience is a plus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or other related field
  • 2 years of progressively responsible experience in finance and/or accounting with experience in planning, forecasting, and financial analysis
