Role Overview

VALD is building the world’s largest musculoskeletal database, and we’re looking for an Analytics Engineer to help shape the future of the VALD Data Lakehouse. The role involves serving as a data product owner, partnering with teams to gather requirements, and building reliable datasets.

What You Will Do

You will serve as a data product owner, partner with teams, design and develop dashboards, build and maintain scalable analytics pipelines, and apply best practices in analytics engineering.

Requirements

  • Strong passion for improving business outcomes
  • Proven experience as an Analytics Engineer
  • Proficiency in Spark SQL, PySpark, and T-SQL
  • Experience with dimensional (Kimball) data modelling
  • Experience with data quality, governance, and Master Data Management (MDM)
