Solutions Architect / Sales Engineer, NA

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Solutions Architect / Sales Engineer to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in a customer‐facing technical or sales engineering role, supporting electrical and mechanical data center solutions during pre‐sales and early project phases.
• Familiarity with IT, networking, or cloud platforms is beneficial.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing complex technical solutions in the data center or technology industry.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Strong understanding of data center technologies, including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to design scalable and reliable solutions.
• Proficiency in architectural frameworks, design patterns, and solution modeling tools.
• Strong communication and social skills, with the ability to engage with clients and internal teams effectively.
• Strategic problem solver with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Thorough with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage numerous projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
