Business Development Manager (Government and Enterprise)

Role Overview

As a Business Development Manager (Government and Enterprise), you will be responsible for driving new business growth across Victorian State Government agencies and enterprise accounts.

What You Will Do

Execute the end-to-end sales cycle for new business opportunities across State Government agencies and enterprise accounts, from prospecting and qualification through proposal, negotiation and close. Identify high-potential prospects across Government and enterprise markets, using research, networking and targeted outreach to continuously build the new business pipeline.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years B2B business development experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Strong experience in relationship and stakeholder management across senior enterprise and government stakeholders
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
• A strategic mindset with strong commercial acumen
• Self-motivation, resilience, and the ability to work independently
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Experience using CRM systems
