Financial Analyst I

Role Overview

The Financial Analyst I will be part of the Financial Planning & Analysis team, assisting in carrying out the broader Finance department mission. The team creates balanced scorecards, leads capital budgeting, and tracks variances. The incumbent will support the FP&A function, at the direction of the Financial Planning Manager.

What You Will Do

The Financial Analyst I will assist in the budget cycle, interact with stakeholders, and produce the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) package. They will also assist in business planning, forecasting, and validating expected ROI.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The incumbent will work closely with the Financial Risk Management (FRM) team, Advanced Analytics team, Accounting, and other business units. They will also maintain documentation of all models and methodologies.

Requirements

• Avid and positive team player that works well across multi-disciplined organization.
• Strong communication skills including presentation, interpersonal and writing skills.
• Strong analytical capabilities with strong knowledge of accounting and financial statements are essential.
• Knowledge of bank / credit union budgeting and planning practices.
• Superior skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work with both finance and non-finance professionals.
• Ability to work independently and is a self-starter.
• Exhibits flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments.
