Role Overview

The Business Development Manager will build relationships with current and potential new customers, proactively building a pipeline of project opportunities to drive business growth and success.

What You Will Do

The candidate will utilize strategic account planning, identify and develop new business opportunities, build and maintain strong relationships with owners, engineering consultants, subcontractors, and material suppliers, and collaborate with sales, marketing, customer service, and client relationship management teams.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing new business and building long-term client relationships, with a minimum of 5 years of business development and/or sales experience, and a strong ability to establish and maintain relationships with executive-level leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of business development and/or sales experience
  • Proven track record of developing new business and building long-term client relationships
  • Experience within the construction industry or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships with executive-level leaders, facility managers, local municipalities, and public agencies
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with company leadership regarding business development activities, opportunities, status updates, and potential issues
