A leader in ship management space is currently expanding and looking for highly qualified candidates for the
Financial Analyst
position based in Singapore.
Job Responsibilities:
Analyze financial statements, management accounts, and operational metrics to evaluate business performance, identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Monitor key operational and financial KPIs, conduct variance analysis, and investigate performance gaps against budgets, forecasts, and agreed targets.
Prepare and present management reports, business performance reviews, and recommendations for senior management and key stakeholders.
Review annual budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure proposals, providing financial analysis and supporting management approval processes.
Perform budget-versus-actual analysis, assess profitability, cash flow, and return on investment, and provide recommendations to enhance business performance.
Support shareholder matters, corporate governance activities, and coordination with various internal and external stakeholders.
Partner with cross-functional teams across finance, operations, commercial, and corporate functions to support strategic initiatives and drive operational and financial improvements.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, Business, or related disciplines.
At least 4-5 years of professional experience with strong knowledge of financial statement analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Index, Match, VLOOKUP, Waterfall Chart) and PowerPoint.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work across departments and with global teams.
Prior industry experience in largescale operations or logistics is an advantage.
